With this original Creality E3D Titan Upgrade Kit for the Ender 3 V2 3D printer, you can easily convert your Bowden extruder to a direct drive extruder. A direct drive extruder is ideal for printing flexible filaments and also helps minimize retraction time, as much less retraction is required.

There isn't much documentation available for the conversion, and you will also need to recalibrate the steps/mm (approximately 382) for the extruder. Therefore, this upgrade is not recommended for beginners.

Features of the E3D Titan Extruder:
Thanks to a gear ratio of 3:1, it provides increased force for filament feeding. It makes printing with flexible filaments easier, which can otherwise be problematic. Shorter and faster retraction paths for the filament, as the extruder is closer to the hotend, allowing for time savings.
