LiFePO4 cell developed for energy storage systems. In addition to a long lifespan and cycle stability, the cell is environmentally friendly and safe. Lifespan is 10 times longer than Li-Ion batteries with approximately 1000 charge cycles. Lithium iron phosphate battery from Cottcell IFR 26650 with a capacity of 3300mAh. Applications: solar lamps, storage of renewable energy, and mobile applications.

Additional features: Lithium iron phosphate batteries are thermally stable and do not suffer from memory effect. They operate based on lithium and are characterized by high energy density.
Notes: Charging lithium iron phosphate batteries requires a special charger that charges the batteries according to a specific charging procedure (CCCV = constant current, constant voltage). The batteries must not be charged beyond a voltage of 3.65 volts, as this poses a risk of fire and explosion. It is advantageous to charge the batteries only up to about 3.5 volts, as this significantly increases the lifespan and number of charge cycles (potentially up to a doubling).
