Product details

The CIM FV microphone cable is used for the symmetrical transmission of audio signals, for example from a microphone or multicore to the stereo inputs of audio interfaces, mixers, or audio workstations. Neutrik has designed these Rean Silver XLR sockets and 6.3 mm stereo jacks in a subtle black. In combination with the Essentials Cable 1 ground cable, this cable offers a conductor cross-section of 0.22 mm² (AWG 24) and a spiral shielding made of bare copper wires. Its individual wire construction (28 x 0.10 mm) makes it particularly flexible, allowing for easy winding. The CIM FV is a more affordable alternative to the CPM FV in many respects, but the capacity (conductor/conductress) is higher, which may lead to signal attenuation, especially over longer distances.
