In creative applications for the digital timeline, the responsive jog wheel and outer ring provide a feel that mimics analog feedback. This allows you to review and edit video clips and audio tracks perfectly. Simply use the inner jog wheel to scan through your media frame by frame, or use the outer ring, the jog ring, to enable scanning at various speeds forward and backward on your timeline. The jog ring can also be used with other apps to preview and edit photos, scroll up and down on websites, and navigate through spreadsheets. Freely programmable functions offer additional control options for different programs.
