Coding World Raspberry Pi weather station kit
Electronics kitProduct details
Youth programs the weather station. The project includes everything you need to build a weather station with your Raspberry Pi (B+, B2, B3). With the DS18B20, you can measure the temperature outdoors, in a terrarium, aquarium, etc. It is waterproof. The DHT11 measures indoor temperature and humidity.
Text, information, and especially numbers are clearly displayed. Step by step, you will learn in the printed manual how to connect the sensors to the Raspberry Pi and read them using Python3. You will then format the data and display it on the seven-segment display.
In the end, you will have a self-programmed weather station and always keep an eye on the temperature and humidity. This kit is an excellent foundation for learning how to collect data and can be easily expanded. Store your data in a database, create graphs, or control a heater or fan based on the temperature.
The kit includes the following items:
- Seven-segment display, including mounting materials
- DS18B20 (outdoor temperature sensor)
- DHT11 (indoor temperature and humidity)
- Breadboard
- Jumper wires
- Push buttons
- LEDs
- Resistors.
