Von der Bildqualität her spielt es keine Rolle. Du solltest bei beiden die volle Auflösung haben. HDMI kann zusätzlich noch Ton übertragen. Displayport nicht. Displayport hat dafür Sync-Funktionen, welche für Gamer wichtig sind. Ich persönlich würde für Videobearbeitung HDMI nehmen. Es kann dann höchstens noch sein, dass deine beiden Geräte mit der einen oder der anderen Verbindungsmethode nicht gut
