Celexon

The celexon HomeCinema Tension screen is a high-quality motorized screen specifically designed for cinephiles and home theater enthusiasts. It combines functional components with an elegant design and uses premium materials to offer excellent value for money. The optimized fiberglass fabric ensures a faithful representation of Full HD and 4K content, while the anti-mold coating and anti-static properties enhance the screen's durability. The type D projection surface allows for homogeneous and brilliant image reproduction with a wide viewing angle, making it the ideal choice for living room cinemas. The shape-stable spiral roller prevents horizontal streaking and ensures even tension across the screen. This motorized screen is therefore not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing and long-lasting.

- Optimized fiberglass fabric for high-resolution content
- Anti-mold coating and anti-static properties
- Homogeneous image reproduction with a wide viewing angle
- Shape-stable spiral roller to prevent streaking

Aspect ratio

Describes the format of image width to image height, with 16:9 being the common TV and office standard. Values such as 21:9 or 32:9 stand for extremely wide monitors, which often replace two old screens next to each other.

Gain factor

The light amplification factor, or gain factor, is an important factor when selecting a screen. Factor tells you something about the reflective properties. An ordinary white sheet of paper has a gain factor of about 1.0. It scatters the incident light homogeneously and diffusely in all directions. Thus it appears practically always equally bright, no matter from which angle you look at it.

Picture walls with a gain above 1.0 try to reflect a certain amount of light more specifically towards the audience, which usually sits axially in front of the picture. Developers achieve this through special surfaces and coatings. They take, so to speak, a small step towards the properties of a mirror. A gain of 2.0 describes a screen that - measured on axis - reflects twice as much light as a perfectly diffuse surface with 1.0. This is why we speak of amplification.
