The drawings can be blended or smudged with fingers, textured by rubbing the lead on sandpaper, or used for watercolor techniques. The pencil barrels are fully lacquered, and their caps shine in the same vibrant color as the lead. The soft, break-resistant lead allows for a clear, precise line for techniques such as hatching, washing, dry drawing, or watercolor and layering. Water-soluble colored pencils in a hexagonal shape fit comfortably in the hand. They are water-soluble, soft, and durable, with a diameter of 3.8 mm, excellent opacity, and outstanding lightfastness.
