Resident Evil Requiem is the ninth title in the Resident Evil main series. Escape death in a breathtaking experience that will shake you to your core. A new era of survival horror begins in 2026. Technological advancements and the extensive experience of the development team come together in a story featuring multifaceted characters and gameplay that is more captivating than ever before.

The story unfolds when a corpse – the victim of an unknown disease – is discovered in an abandoned hotel. FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft is assigned to the case. However, the crime scene is in the same hotel where her mother died eight years ago. Grace prepares to finally confront her past and heads to the crime scene. But this one case leads to uncovering the hidden truth behind the outbreak in Raccoon City, the biological disaster that shook the world. Will this be the requiem that finally buries the memories of this horrific catastrophe?

In gameplay, you will experience the classic survival horror of the series with combat, investigations, puzzles, and resource management. The gameplay allows you to freely switch between first-person and third-person perspectives to face the horrors in a way that suits your playstyle.

Raccoon City is a city in the Midwest of the USA and the former headquarters of the global pharmaceutical company Umbrella. In light of the zombie outbreak in 1998, the government approved a sterilization operation and a missile strike on the city to quickly bring the situation under control – but this was quickly covered up.

PEGI

Pan European Game Information (PEGI) is a European video game content rating system established to help European parents make informed decisions on buying computer games with logos on games boxes.

Country version Packaging

Describes whether the game comes with USK or PEGI packaging. USK ("Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle") is the age rating used in the German market. The PEGI ("Pan European Game Information") age rating is used in the rest of Europe (and also predominantly in the Swiss market). While PEGI is "only" a recommendation, the USK rating is binding for the sale of software in the German market.

The country version usually has no influence on the game content.

Note: It can happen that occasionally different packaging is delivered.
