Canon TS-E 50mm 2.8L Macro

This tilt and shift lens offers the possibility to control the perspective and the focal plane. It features perfectly calibrated adjustment mechanisms, a first-class optical design for minimized distortion, excellent resolution from center to edge and macro characteristics with an imaging scale of up to 1:2.

Change the focus plane to make the subject stand out even more and adjust the depth of field to the best possible depth - right through the camera and without the need for a computer. Precise movements allow ± 8.5° panning, ±12 mm shifting and ± 90° rotation of the tilt and shift function in any direction (relative to each other) - for superb perspective control.

The close-up limit of 27 centimeters allows macro shots in a 1:2 reproduction ratio with a unique focusing and additional control of perspective and depth of field. Aspherical and UD lenses minimize chromatic aberrations and the SWC (Subwavelength Structure Coating) and ASC (Air Sphere Coating) coatings minimize reflections and ghosting.

The 50mm focal length provides a natural viewing angle with the added benefit of adjusting the perspective and focal plane.
