Thanks to its compatibility with the multifunctional accessory shoe, which also enables improved communication, shooting with flash is now easier than ever. The configurable and accessible shooting modes via the camera menu support work in various scenarios, such as transitioning from sunlight to shade in outdoor shots or different color tones in fashion photography. Settings can be adjusted through the Camera Connect app from a smartphone, allowing both the camera and the Speedlite to be responsive.

With a focal length coverage of 24-105 mm and versatile power selection, controlling the lighting is straightforward. This gives images a professional shine: whether it's the catchlight for sparkle in the subject's eyes or soft flash lighting for a moody portrait. Weighing in at just about 284 g, the Speedlite EL-10 is a true lightweight and operates on four AA batteries – perfect for daily use.

As a sign of its commitment to further expanding the professional RF lens lineup, Canon confirms the development of additional zoom and prime lenses in the L-series with aperture rings and uniform size, following the same hybrid concept for photos and videos as the RF 35 mm F1.4 L VCM.
