The flash recycling time has been improved by approximately 20 percent, and the charging process is notably quiet and unobtrusive. A metal foot with connection contacts ensures stable communication between the camera and the flash. Additionally, a mechanism for quickly attaching and detaching the Speedlite has been integrated, which has already proven effective in the Speedlite 580 EX II.
The Speedlite 430 EX III-RT can serve as a central component of an integrated flash system for both analog and digital cameras and supports distance-linked E-TTL-II flash.
