Canon RF 85mm F1.4 L VCM

With its focal length of 85 mm and uncompromising optical quality, the RF 85mm F1.4 L VCM is ideal for portrait photography. Aspherical and UD lenses as well as advanced coatings ensure sharp portraits and soft backgrounds.

The high speed of 1:1.4 enables use in low light and, together with the 11-blade iris diaphragm, creative control of the depth of field.

Thanks to the standardised design of the F1.4 hybrid fixed focal lengths, the lens can be operated very intuitively. At around half the size and weight of an RF 85mm F1.2 L USM, the RF 85mm F1.4 L VCM is particularly suitable for shooting on the move.

Thanks to the high-speed AF technology with VCM5, even spontaneous moments are captured sharply. The powerful AF motor ensures precise pull-focus effects with minimised focus breathing in videos and makes the shots look completely natural.

With the configurable control ring and the function button, the lens can be precisely customised to your shooting style. A special aperture ring4 enables smooth aperture control for videos and, on selected cameras, also for photos.
