Canon

This powerful F2.8 telephoto zoom from the Canon Trinitiy RF series offers impressive image quality and compact dimensions for use in virtually any environment. With its constant speed of 1:2.8 over the entire focal length range of 70-200mm, this zoom lens is ideal for travel, nature, news and sports.

Two Nano USM motors are used for the first time with this zoom lens at Canon. This brings a whole new level of high and virtually silent focusing speed - ideal for photos and videos. With a 5-stage image stabilizer, a 9-blade iris diaphragm, aspherical and Super UD lenses with SWC and Super Spectra coatings, this zoom lens sets new standards in lens performance.

Lens type

Bayonet lens mount

A lens mount is an interface — mechanical and often also electrical — between a photographic camera body and a lens. It is confined to cameras where the body allows interchangeable lenses, most usually the single lens reflex type or any movie camera of 16 mm or higher gauge. Lens mounts are also used to connect optical components in instrumentation that may not involve a camera, such as the modular components used in optical laboratory prototyping which join via C-mount or T-mount elements.
