Product details
The 35 mm focal length offers a pleasing perspective. A separate aperture ring allows smooth manual aperture control when shooting video, while the 11-blade iris diaphragm offers excellent depth of field control with minimised focus breathing for incredible image quality. Thanks to the f/1.4 aperture, bright images can be captured even in low light. This fixed focal length puts the subject centre stage and offers even more creative possibilities with the option of using filters at both the front and rear.
Aspherical and UD lenses with Super Spectra and ASC coating ensure outstanding image quality. A fast Nano USM in combination with the even faster VCM technology ensures fast and precise focussing. Thanks to the L-series design with high-quality lenses, the lens can also be used in difficult conditions. The fluorine coating prevents dirt from sticking to the front lens, while a special lens control ring and a configurable lens function button enable customised control. More agility when shooting thanks to better balance and easier handling. The RF 35 mm F1.4 L VCM is lighter than its EF predecessor and is particularly suitable for use in smaller video rigs.
