An electronic 0.39-inch viewfinder with a high resolution of 2,360,000 pixels that displays even the finest details. Thanks to its fast response time, motion is shown as it truly occurs. Information such as histogram or electronic level is overlaid on the viewfinder image. With 100% frame coverage, the viewfinder displays everything you are capturing.

When holding the camera to your eye, it offers a discreet form of documentary photography, making it ideal for travel and street photography. See how different image styles, such as black and white or landscape, affect the image and preview the depth of field. Take sharper shots by keeping the camera closer to your body, as this reduces blurriness from accidental camera shake. The camera automatically switches between display and viewfinder mode when brought to the eye. You can also manually switch the display using the Screen/EVF button.

The viewfinder is small enough to carry in your pocket or give a dedicated spot in your camera bag – and it weighs only about 29 grams. It easily attaches to the accessory shoe. Thanks to the 22mm exit pupil, it is comfortable to use even for glasses wearers. It is compatible with selected PowerShot and EOS M cameras.
