Für die sehr kompakte Bauform erbringt das Objektiv sehr gute Leistungen und bietet dabei eine gute Bedienbarkeit. Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist hoch auch wenn das Canon größtenteils aus Kunststoff gefertigt wurde. Eine Sonnenblende wäre wünschenswert, muss allerdings als Zubehör gekauft werden.
Das Objektiv ist sehr kompakt gehalten und punktet mit einer hohen Lichtstärke, wobei die Laborergebnisse ebenfalls gut sind. Bei der Ausstattung hat der Hersteller aber deutlich gespart, wobei dennoch ein Kauftipp als Auszeichnung hier herausspringt.
Das Canon 40mm-Objektiv zeigt im Test, dass es viel Leistung zum fairen Preis bietet. Das Pancake-Objektiv überzeugt durch seine kompakte Bauweise und eine tolle Abbildungsleistung. Kauftipp!
Das Canon-Objektiv ist zwar recht günstig und zudem auch äußerst kompakt, dennoch kann es insgesamt nur begrenzt überzeugen. Die Bildqualität ist nur befriedigend, wobei auch ein Bildstabilisator fehlt.
