C-Tech HDMI 1st/M cable

HDMI connection cable specification 1.4 (compatible with HDMI 2.0) Ethernet channel. HDMI specification 1.4 adds a data channel to the HDMI cable, a fast Ethernet channel (100 Mbit/s) for high-speed two-way communication. This allows devices with internet connectivity and HDMI to share the internet connection with other HDMI devices. It also enables content sharing between multiple HDMI devices, all without the need for an additional separate Ethernet cable.

Return channel. The new specifications introduce a return channel. This is responsible for the bidirectional data transfer of audio. It allows HDTV to send an audio stream over the HDMI cable to an A/V receiver, thereby reducing the number of cables needed.

3D over HDMI. Standard specification 2.0 defines the data flow split into two stereo channels at a resolution of up to 1080p (1920x1080) for use in home stereo 3D systems.

Support for 4K x 2K resolution. The new specifications enable support for up to four times the high-definition (HD) resolution (4 x 1080p), which is used in modern home theaters.

Vehicle connection system. Specification of a cable designed for use in vehicles. It defines the fundamentals for distributing HD content to devices in the vehicle (multi-function consoles in the dashboard, integrated panels in the seats, etc.).

High-Definition Digital Audio/Video Cable Multimedia Interface (HDMI). Supports the HDMI Ethernet Channel 100 Mbps function (HEC). Supports Audio Return Channel technology (ARC).
