Special soft-focus filter with irregularly distributed micro-lenses on a flat parallel clear glass plate. The sharp central image is overlaid with gentle blur - ideal for dreamy portraits, softly shimmering hair in backlight, and soft dreamlike landscapes with minimal sharpness loss. The B+W Soft-Pro largely maintains overall contrast, functioning almost independently of focal length and aperture; depth of field remains controllable. Autofocus systems are not disturbed.
