B+W Basic S-P Soft-Pro Filter is a special soft-focus filter with irregularly distributed micro-lenses on a flat clear glass plate. The sharp central image is overlaid with gentle blur – ideal for dreamy portraits, softly shimmering hair backlit, and soft dreamlike landscapes without much loss of sharpness. The B+W Soft-Pro largely maintains overall contrast and works almost independently of focal lengths and apertures; thus, depth of field remains controllable. Autofocus systems are not affected.
