BuildTak System 332 x 340 mm

The system consists of three components: the BuildTak FlexPlate, our unique magnetic mounting base, and a standard sheet of BuildTak. Together, they create a system that makes the print removal process easier than ever. Designed in the most common sizes, the product is ensured to be compatible with a variety of printers.

How does it work? Simple. Peel back the adhesive film to attach the unique magnetic mount to your print bed, apply a BuildTak sheet to the FlexPlate, and then magnetically attach the BuildTak-coated FlexPlate to your base. Make a one-time adjustment to your Z-height to compensate for the added thickness of the FlexPlate system, and then start printing.

It works just that easily: peel off the adhesive film and stick the magnetic mount to your print bed. Attach a BuildTak sheet to the movable FlexPlate. You can now place the BuildTak-coated FlexPlate onto your print bed, where it will be held in place magnetically. Adjust the Z-offset for your extruder to account for the additional thickness of the FlexPlate system. Start printing. Once the printing process is complete, simply remove the FlexPlate from your print bed. By bending the FlexPlate, you can easily detach your printed object!.
