Product details
Ciclop, the first DIY 3D scanner from bq and Horus, comes equipped with its own free 3D scanning software. Like all other DIY products from bq, Ciclop and Horus are open-source products that belong to the technological heritage of everyone. All information regarding the mechanical design, electronics, software, algorithms, mathematics, and conducted experiments is made available to the public. This allows anyone to study the scanner, understand how it works, make modifications, implement improvements, and collaboratively advance the development of new versions. bq aims to contribute to and promote the development of this type of device. Ciclop operates with its own software: Horus, which has been newly released under a freely accessible and free license.
