Product details

Enhanced 3D printing with the Bondtech CHT BiMetal coated nozzle for maximum filament throughput for E3D Volcano compatible hot ends. This nozzle splits the filament into three separate strands like other CHT nozzles, increasing heating performance by enlarging the surface area. The BiMetal nozzle further improves this by using better heat-conducting copper metal for the nozzle body to maximize thermal performance. The hardened vanadium steel tips provide robust wear protection and are suitable for printing abrasive materials such as carbon and fiberglass composites. Finally, the nickel coating protects the nozzle from corrosion, erosion, and wear.

You can easily replace the nozzle in your Volcano hot end with the Bondtech CHT BiMetal nozzle. However, it is important to heat the hot end to at least 250 °C (preferably 280 °C) when you want to replace the CHT BiMetal nozzle again to avoid damage.

This is the Volcano version of the nozzle, which is compatible with many 3D printers and hot ends, including:

  • E3D Volcano blocks
  • Other Volcano blocks
  • Artillery Sidewinder X1 and X2
  • Anycubic Vyper
  • FLSUN Super Racer
  • Artillery Genius Pro
  • Anycubic Kobra and Kobra Max
  • Lulzbot TAZ MOARstruder.
