Use and care

Before using the toaster for the first time, operate it without bread in it for five minutes to eliminate any odours from the new appliance.

Always disconnect the toaster from the mains before cleaning. To clean the inside, tip the toaster upside down over the sink and shake gently.

After toasting, wait until the toaster has cooled down, then remove and empty the crumb tray. The surface can be wiped with a damp cloth and dried.

How it works

• Place the 2-slice toaster on a flat, heat-resistant surface and plug it in. Insert up to two slices of bread into the toasting slots, select the desired setting and press the control lever down until it locks into place.

• If you are using frozen bread, press the defrost button immediately, and if you are reheating rolls or croissants, adjust the integrated reheating stand to the appropriate height.

• The toaster stops automatically and you can cancel the process at any time by pressing the cancel button.
