Mounting with a Twist

The BlueLAN cage nut mounting kit includes 20 M6 screws, 20 cage nuts, and 20 washers. The M6 BlueLAN mounting kit is an essential component for setting up a 19-inch server rack. Use the M6 mounting kit with cage nuts and screws for your rack installations (e.g., cable management panels, switches, fans, shelves, etc.) in network cabinets or other similar enclosures with the same mounting technique.

The spring steel of the cage nuts can often be a bit stubborn when inserting them into the 9 mm holes, making it inevitable for them to slip during installation. This can quickly lead to injuries. Therefore, the BlueLAN M6 cage nuts and screws have been specially designed to eliminate sharp edges in the mounting kit. Securely and easily mount your components in your server racks now.

How to use the cage nuts?
Attach the BlueLAN cage nuts from the back into the 9 mm holes of the 19" mounting cutouts of your enclosure. Once you have secured the M6 cage nuts, the components to be installed are fastened from the front using the M6 BlueLAN washers and M6 BlueLAN screws.

Good to know
The M6 size is the standard size for common network cabinets, server racks, wall enclosures, electronic housings, and racks (19-inch and 10-inch), making it universally applicable for securing cable management panels, patch panels, switches, fans, shelves, and other components.
