Blackmagic Studio Fiber Converter

The Blackmagic Design Studio Fiber Converter is a bidirectional fiber optic interface for the Blackmagic Camera Fiber Converter. The Studio Fiber Converter can communicate with a camera fiber converter over distances of up to 1.6 miles and can be used in OB vans, television studios, and large venues to transmit video, audio, communication, and control signals over a single SMPTE fiber connection. On the back, there are SDI connections for HD or UHD 4K video and HD return feeds. Audio is output through four XLR connectors. Additional connections include reference in and out, PTZ, and intercom/tally on D-connectors, Ethernet, and SFP fiber (requires separately available SFP cage). On the front, there is a single SMPTE fiber connection for the camera fiber converter and a 5" display.
