With the Blackmagic Video Assist, you can now enhance any SDI or HDMI camera with professional image monitoring and recording capabilities. Its ultra-bright touchscreen is significantly larger than the typical display of a DSLR camera. The monitor supports 3D LUTs and features helpful focus assist and exposure tools that make accurate focusing, exposure, and framing a breeze. The Blackmagic Video Assist includes high-speed SD card recorders for HD or Ultra HD recording of 10-bit 4:2:2 ProRes, DNxHD, and DNxHR files in QuickTime and MXF formats. Both Blackmagic Video Assist models—the 7-inch in Ultra HD and the 5-inch in HD—are compatible with any camera for which you desire higher quality image monitoring and more professional file recordings.
