The Verio 200 are Beyerdynamic's first attempt to build open-ear headphones. You can tell from the case that the company is aiming to set its brand apart from cheap models. It looks robust, feels heavy in the hand and looks classy with its matt finish. At least until you hold it a little more often and the matt surface no longer looks completely matt in some places...

Product details
Verio 200 is a wireless Bluetooth earphone with an open design. Verio 200 does not sit in the ear canal, but rests on the ear and directs the sound directly into the ear. This design makes it possible to listen to music and at the same time be aware of your surroundings. The earhook made of supple silicone and memory wire ensures a comfortable and secure fit. Verio 200 is protected against splash water and sweat according to IP54 certification and is also suitable for indoor and outdoor sports activities. The powerful driver with codecs such as aptX Adaptive and AAC ensures a perfect sound image. Two high-quality integrated microphones with cVc technology ensure first-class speech intelligibility, whether at home in the home office or on the move. Ambient noise is recognised and filtered out so that your own voice is transmitted clearly and distinctly. Playback is controlled, the volume adjusted, calls made and the voice assistant called up by tapping on the control surface of the earphones. The free beyerdynamic app can be used to customise music playback or device control. Software updates are also available via the app. Verio 200 can be easily charged using the charging station integrated in the case.

The Beyerdynamic Verio 200 Sport delivered a solid performance in our test. The open-ears offer a comfortable fit thanks to their protruding earpieces, but it is not possible to adjust the earpieces. This could be a challenge, especially for spectacle wearers. The sound quality of the headphones is good, with the open design being particularly impressive due to its spatiality...

Beyerdynamic have carved out a niche for themselves - and immediately achieved a real success. The Verio 200 consistently play to the strengths of the open-ear concept with suspended drivers and can easily pass as second headphones and a complement to traditional in-ears. Thanks to the wide sound stage, listening to music is unusually relaxed and extremely immersive...
