Beyerdynamic DT 880 Black Special Edition

The DT 880 Black Special Edition sounds very neutral and relaxed. The bass reproduction extends very deep but is not overly emphasized. The semi-open design allows some ambient sound to enter and escape, but it dampens it more effectively than an open headphone like the DT 990 Edition.

The DT 880 Edition (in the 250-ohm version) and the DT 880 Black Special Edition are acoustically identical. Both headphones also impress with the same excellent wearing comfort. The Black Special Edition additionally features a particularly high-quality processed headband. Furthermore, the Special Edition is delivered in an exclusive headphone case. Both models (in the 250-ohm version) are designed for use at home with a stereo system.
