Features

Promoting musicality in music education: Tuned instruments, including metallophones, xylophones, and glockenspiels, can be played by children as young as preschool age. They are therefore excellent for early musical education, in music classes in kindergartens and schools, as well as in music schools.

The switchable damping mechanism allows you to control the resonance. When the damping is activated, the resonance is shortened by about half. The resonance box made of maple wood is divided into different chambers according to the pitch of the corresponding sound bars. Two mallets are included in the delivery.

Learning to make music with the alto metallophone: The metallophones from Betzold Music are equipped with aluminum sound bars. Thanks to the thick bars, each strike produces a warm sound. The resonance of a metallophone is significantly longer than that of other bar instruments, such as xylophones or glockenspiels. To shorten the resonance, metallophones are equipped with a damping mechanism.
