Ypsilon is an unobtrusive, energy-saving solution to brighten walls and visually enlarge the space. The plug-in luminaire, awarded the Golden Plug prize, can also be used where dark ceilings do not reflect the light. Modern electronics and noble surfaces, combined with the distinctive design, provide high-quality light and long life.
Small spaces can be subjectively enlarged by flooding light across the wall. Ypsilon takes advantage of this phenomenon and illuminates a room or wall surface vertically and broadly. The slim luminaire body only appears secondarily and unfolds its effect when switched on. The design by Hannes Wettstein was based on the shape Y, which gives Ypsilon its light and unobtrusive character.
The built-in dimmer allows regulation from bright room light to a cozy mood light, providing a pleasant atmosphere in the living room or entrance area where you receive guests. Ypsilon is very energy efficient thanks to LED technology and a consumption of only 35W and can even be rotated over 270°.
