The strain relief, where the cable meets the connector head, is longer than that of other cables. TPE provides greater flexibility, and the longer strain relief reliably absorbs stress. It also reinforces the connection from the cable to the connector head to prevent separation. In tests with over 5000 cycles, where the cable was bent 180 degrees, it has proven to be extremely resistant to splitting and breaking. TPE is not only flexible and soft, but it also has a better feel and is more environmentally friendly than standard PVC.
