The BASF PLA filament is known for being one of the most reliable PLA filaments on the market. Thanks to the careful selection of color pigments, you are guaranteed consistent and vibrant colors. The optimized manufacturing process ensures excellent printing results, and nozzle clogs will be a thing of the past with proper use. Unlike ABS, a heated print bed is not strictly necessary for PLA filaments, as they shrink less upon cooling, significantly reducing the undesirable warping effect. PLA is made from corn starch and is biodegradable under industrial conditions. Therefore, it is one of the most environmentally friendly filaments for 3D printing. The BASF PLA filament is suitable for both home use and technically demanding models.
