Product details

This module is specifically designed to expand the GPIO of the Banana Pi A, effectively addressing the insufficient Banana transmission IO points.

It uses the PCF8574 chip to extend 8 bidirectional IOs. The module connects to the Banana Pi via the I2C bus. There are 8 I2C addresses on the module, and the user can select one of them by setting the "ADDR" jumper. The user can also choose between 5V or 3.3V electrical levels. The module features isolation protection, which can effectively prevent external high voltage from damaging the Banana Pi. Multiple modules can be cascaded.

Product Features:

* 8 bidirectional IOs
* 8 I2C addresses
* Isolation protection
* Uses the wiringPi API, example code
* 100 kHz I2C bus interface (standard mode I2C bus)

Ports:

* Banana Pi plug-in connector
* Banana Pi cascade connector
* EXT0-EXT7 for GPIO expansion
* Jumper for selecting electrical level
* I2C address selection jumper

Product Parameters:

* Operating voltage: 2.5V-6V
* IO voltage: 3.3V or 5V
