It consists of a driven gear and an active gear that work together to feed the filament into the hotend. Made of heavy-duty materials, the hardened steel extruder gear is better suited for printing with tough technical filaments such as PAHT-CF and PET-CF and provides long-lasting performance. In case of wear or clogging due to prolonged use, the user can replace only the extruder gearbox and not the entire extruder unit. *The P1 series extruder unit is supplied with a stainless steel extruder gearbox. Users can upgrade it to a hardened steel extruder gearbox for better abrasion resistance against technical filaments.
