The cooling fan for the hotend has an automatic switch-off function while it is blocked for 1 to 3 seconds at nominal voltage. The circuit attempts to restart in 2 to 6 seconds. No damage occurs after 72 hours of blocking. The cooling fan is a high speed rotating part, so it should not be touched while it is running.
