A solar charge controller regulates the voltage of the solar modules to an optimal level for the batteries. The nominal voltage of 12V or 24V is automatically recognized by the charge controller. By applying MPPT technology, the solar charger can achieve up to 30% more energy yield from the solar module into the battery compared to conventional chargers. With the three-stage charging characteristic and selectable charging voltages, the charge controller can be configured to precisely match the charging parameters to the specific battery requirements.

The system is fully protected against overvoltage, overheating, and reverse polarity. An automatic current limit allows for the use of the full current strength without the user having to worry about potential overload.
