PWM charge controller: A resistor determines the current operating state, and as a result, the charging process is optimized through the principle of pulse width modulation. This achieves a very low voltage drop (maximum 0.24 V) and self-consumption (maximum 6 mA). Therefore, PWM charge controllers are significantly more effective than simple linear charge controllers. The built-in microprocessor charges the battery gently, ensuring a long lifespan for your solar batteries. AGM battery: The construction principle of AGM batteries is based on the use of grid plates and a fiberglass mat as a separator, in which the electrolyte is fixed. AGM batteries are maintenance-free regarding water refilling and offer users not only a very good cycle life but also efficient charging current absorption. By optimizing the internal structure (e.g., mass and electrolyte availability), AGM series batteries are ideally suited for solar applications.
