Aune SC1 EVO

The Aune SC1 EVO is a high-precision 10-MHz master clock specifically designed for audiophile HiFi systems. Its custom OCXO quartz oscillator was developed in collaboration with Titans Audio Lab. The innovative Vivid-UI interface allows for immediate visual monitoring of the internal core clock: Red indicates the warm-up phase, Yellow signals the transition operation, and Green shows the optimal state. The power supply follows a cascaded, symmetrical low-noise design, including a dedicated linear regulator (LDO) based on the ESS-2 generation solution, providing impressive power supply separation: 80 dB PSRR and less than 1 µV output noise. With support for AC (110–230 V) and DC inputs (9 V), including automatic utilization of DC operation, maximum flexibility in power supply is offered – especially with high-quality external power supplies, this represents a significant sonic upgrade. The device's outputs deliver two sine and two square wave signals (each 10 MHz) with phase synchronization of under 0.00001, even when multiple outputs are used in parallel. This is a technical achievement for precise synchronization. Frequency accuracy is at 50 ppb with stability under 0.01 ppb. The short warm-up time of about ten minutes leads to operational readiness. The sound quality benefits from increased detail richness, calmness, spatial depth, and musical naturalness. The sonic aesthetic tuning of the SC1 EVO is based on real instruments and selected musical literature, resulting in a particularly natural and musical signature. The implementation with hand-picked components, specially developed firmware, and precisely tuned design makes it a reference solution in the field of external audio clocks. Thus, the SC1 EVO is not just a timing tool but an audiophile instrument that elevates sonic potential to a new level.
