The Atomos Shinobi 7 RX is a professional 7-inch (17.8 cm) on-camera monitor for videographers and camera operators, offering precise image assessment and monitoring functions. With a high-resolution 1920x1200-pixel display and a brightness of 2200 cd/m², this monitor delivers exceptional clarity even in challenging lighting conditions. The successor to earlier Shinobi monitors supports HDR monitoring for HLG and PQ formats, enabling accurate assessment of High Dynamic Range content during production. It includes a comprehensive range of professional tools such as focus peaking, false-colour exposure analysis, a waveform monitor and frame guides for various aspect ratios. The monitor accepts input signals via HDMI and offers 3D-LUT support for colour-accurate monitoring with custom looks. Constructed with a durable aluminium housing, it weighs approximately 450 g and measures 180 x 110 x 25 mm, making it portable for field use whilst remaining robust. The Shinobi 7 RX operates using Sony NP-F series batteries or via a DC power supply, offering flexible power options for longer shooting sessions. It includes a sun visor for better visibility outdoors and features a standard 1/4-inch (6.35 mm) thread for secure camera mounting.
