True 4K HDMI Extender (4K@300m) The VE883AK1 is an optical True 4K HDMI Extender that consists of a transmitter VE883AT and a receiver VE883AR, designed to transmit HDMI, audio, USB 2.0, IR, RS-232, and Gigabit Ethernet signals up to 4096 x 2160 / 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz (4:4:4) losslessly over 300 meters using a single duplex fiber optic cable. The fiber optic cables are electrically isolated, making them immune to RFI and EMI, which eliminates the need for complex wiring. With ATEN's exclusive FarSmooth technology, the VE883AK1 prevents delays and freezing by adjusting output rates to match input rates, ensuring that the display remains stable, smooth, and identical to the source, especially in applications requiring long-distance extension where uninterrupted video streams are essential. The VE883A features interfaces such as HDMI input/output, analog audio input/output, USB 2.0, IR, RS-232, and Gigabit Ethernet. Connectivity with USB peripherals is enhanced thanks to the dual USB Type-A ports of the VE883A. For point-to-point extensions, pluggable SFP+ duplex multi-mode modules are included, serving as the optical connection.
