The CL5708MW Slideaway – LCD KVM Switch series is a controller that enables access to multiple computers from a single PS/2 or USB KVM (Keyboard, Video, and Mouse) console. Up to 31 additional KVM switches can be daisy-chained with the CL5708MW, allowing up to 256 computers to be controlled from a single KVM console. The CL5708MW offers a space-saving, sleek approach to KVM switch technology by integrating a keyboard, a 17.3" LCD monitor with LED backlighting, and a touchpad into a rack-mountable 1U chassis. To enhance security, the CL5708MW provides the option to use a fingerprint identification system to control access to the CL5708MW itself and the servers it manages. The CL5708MW is based on a modular design, allowing the KVM component to be detached from the switch component for convenient maintenance and repair.
