The KL1516AiN KVM switch is a dual-rail LCD KVM switch that enables the control of up to 16 computers from a single console (keyboard, monitor, and mouse). It features a built-in 48 cm LCD screen, a full-sized keyboard, and a touchpad, all mounted in a 1U rackmount for 19-inch racks in a retractable housing. The LCD monitor and the keyboard module with touchpad can be pulled out of the rack independently. To create more space in the data center, the keyboard module with touchpad can be retracted while the slim LCD screen remains extended and flat against the rack for monitoring the computers—allowing for easy observation of computer activity. The KL1516Ai provides local and remote sysops the ability to monitor and control multiple computers over an IP network. Since it uses the TCP/IP protocol for communication, the KL1516Ai can be operated from any computer on the LAN, WAN, or Internet—regardless of whether it is in the same room, across the street, or on another continent.
