This KVM switch offers out-of-band access with external modem support for troubleshooting at the BIOS level when the network is down. The KN series IP KVM switches provide local console and remote-over-IP access for users who want to monitor and access their entire data center over a network. The KN series delivers outstanding FHD video resolution of up to 1920 x 1200, dual-speed virtual media transmission, and FIPS 140-2 compliance with Level 1 security standards through the use of an embedded FIPS 140-2 certified OpenSSL encryption module. Equipped with two built-in network interface cards (NICs), the KN series is designed to ensure reliable and available remote access to all servers. Access to the KN series can be managed and operated via WinClient/JavaClient from a console at a separate location. ATEN also offers an iOS app - the PadClient, whose intuitive interface facilitates connection to the IP KVM switch and control of computers directly from the user's iPad.
