Aten KL1508AiM KVM Over IP Switch, 8 Port, 43 cm LCD, VGA, PS/2-USB, English. The LCD KVM switch with dual rail design allows control of up to 8 computers from a single console (keyboard, monitor, and mouse). It features a built-in LCD screen, a full-sized keyboard, and a touchpad, and is mounted in a 1U rackmount for 19-inch cabinets in a retractable housing. The LCD monitor and the keyboard module with touchpad can be pulled out of the rack independently. To create more space in the data center, the keyboard module with touchpad can be pushed in while the slim LCD screen is extended and remains flat against the rack for easy monitoring of the computers. The KL1508Ai enables local and remote sysops to monitor and control multiple computers over an IP network. Since it uses the TCP/IP protocol for communication, the KL1508Ai can be operated from any computer on the LAN, WAN, or Internet—regardless of whether it is in the same room, across the street, or on another continent.
