KVM switch for controlling multiple computers from two PS/2 or USB consoles. Sysops can independently and simultaneously manage up to 8 computers from up to two consoles. By daisy-chaining a maximum of 31 additional switches, it is even possible to manage up to 256 computers. Two KVM consoles can independently and simultaneously control up to 8 directly connected computers. Console conversion - any type of KVM console can control a computer with any type of connection - mixed combinations (PS/2 and USB) are possible. Enhanced graphics quality - supports resolutions up to 1600 x 1200 at 60 Hz for distances up to 40 m and 1280 x 1024 at 75 Hz for distances up to 50 m with KA7000 series KVM adapter cables. User access rights to ports can be assigned on a per-port basis. Diversified port operation allows for flexible management of computers in the modes of Occupied, Exclusive, and Shared.
