Aten KH1516AI: 16 port Cat-IP KVM switch

The Cat. 5 High-Density KVM over IP Switch KH1516Ai is designed for 16 computers and is housed in a 1U case for convenient installation in a 19-inch rack. It allows both local sysops and remote operators to manage the entire company's data center via a web browser over the Internet.

The KH1516Ai features RJ-45 ports for connecting to the attached computers using standard Cat. 5e/e cables and supports various computer platforms. This ensures high-quality signals even over longer transmission distances—up to 50 meters without the need for a KVM extender. If KVM adapter cables are used for connecting the devices, you can connect any combination of PCs, Macintosh or Sun computers, as well as serial devices to the KH1508Ai.

In addition to TCP/IP connectivity, the KH1516Ai offers console ports for a locally connected USB or PS/2 console and a Laptop USB Console (LUC) for access and control from the data center as well as over the Internet.
