Aten KH1508AI: 8 Port Cat- IP KVM Switch

The KL1508Ai KVM switch is a dual-rail LCD KVM switch that allows control of up to 8 computers from a single console (keyboard, monitor, and mouse). It features a built-in LCD screen, a full-sized keyboard, and a touchpad, and is mounted in a 1U rack-mountable case for 19-inch racks.

This 8-port KVM switch enables remote access via LAN or the Internet, extending the distance between the PC and the KVM switch up to 30 meters (at 1600 x 1200 @ 60Hz). It supports Internet browser access, Windows client, and Java client. No software is required: computer selection is made via buttons on the device or hotkeys and OSD menu.

The switch supports all server platforms and VT100-based devices, as well as multi-platform server environments, including PS/2, USB, Sun, and serial connections. RJ45 ports provide structured access to the device without cable clutter.

Up to 15 additional devices can be daisy-chained, allowing control of up to 128 PCs. Up to 64 users can be active with up to 32 simultaneous connections. Viewing all 8 PCs on a single screen at the same time is possible in Panel Array Mode. A message board facilitates communication among logged-in users.

Advanced security features include password protection, 1024-bit RSA, 256-bit AES, 56-bit DES, and 128-bit SSL. RADIUS server support is also available.
