As a true 4K HDMI EDID emulator adapter, the VC081A is designed to emulate and store an EDID set from the connected display by simplifying 4K video transmission. By learning the EDID from the HDMI display and transmitting it back to the video source, the VC081A helps eliminate video communication problems that occur when the EDID data between the HDMI video source and the connected display are not properly synchronised.

This member has a unique "learn button" to efficiently learn and memorise the EDID. Once the EDID is learnt, the VC081A can be used to keep the PC or server active from a remote location via IP instead of the monitor. The VC081A is an ideal device to avoid the occurrence of black or glowing LEDs due to communication errors between sources and displays during the integration of a Pro AV system.
