The CL5716 Slideaway – LCD KVM Switch Series is a controller that allows access to multiple computers through a single PS/2 or USB KVM (Keyboard, Video, and Mouse) console. A single CL5716 can control up to 8 or 16 computers. Up to 31 additional KVM switches can be daisy-chained with the CL5716, enabling control of up to 512 computers from a single KVM console.

The CL5716 offers a space-saving, optimized approach to KVM switch technology by integrating a keyboard, a 17-inch, 17.3-inch, or 19-inch LCD monitor with LED backlighting, and a touchpad into a rack-mountable 1U sliding housing. The 17.3-inch LCD monitor provides Full HD video quality for improved visibility and clarity. To enhance security, the CL5716 offers the option to use a fingerprint identification system to control access to the CL5716 itself and the servers it manages.

The CL5716 is modular in design. The KVM area can be separated from the switch area for convenient maintenance and repair.
